Gulp Restaurant

Gulp restaurant is a small cafe & a hidden gem in international city. They have cute restaurant setup with limited seating arrangement, it is ideal for takeaway & home deliveries. Their menu consists of mainly salads, burgers, pastas & desserts.

I tried few of their items; the presentation was on point & the service was really quick. I had 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐲 𝐁𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐨 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬, 𝐃𝐲𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐬, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐖𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐚 & 𝐍𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐞

This place is among few restaurants that can make good dynamite shrimps, perfectly crisp with spicy mayo sauce. I’ll surely be visiting again for it. Another item that was worthwhile was their pasta – it was perfectly done with the right amount of sauce & cheese.

Support small businesses and do check out this place for some quick bites & lip smacking items at affordable rates.

Kimura-Ya Authentic Japanese Restaurant

Kimuraya Dubai is an authentic Japanese restaurant now opened Oberoi Dubai. It has over 200 branches in Japan. Recently visited this place & loved their hospitality, service & food. As soon as you’ll enter the place, the culturally dressed up staff will give you a warm welcome in a loud voice that will bring a smile on your face.

For all the Sushi lovers, they have a huge menu serving different types of Sushi. As I’m not fond of it, I didn’t opt for it however I enjoyed a number of other Asian popular dishes & thoroughly enjoyed the food.

Started off with 𝐄𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐫𝐚 as Appetizers. For the Main course I enjoyed 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐤𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐖𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟, 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 & 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐞. The food was served fresh and hot. The favourite dish that I loved was Wague beef. It was well cooked, juicy & light on the stomach. If you are visiting this place don’t miss it.

Do try this place for a mini trip to Japan, with the most authentic Japanese taste & excellent service.

Clucker’s Wood Roasted Chicken

I love exploring new eateries in Dubai and I’ve found yet another hidden gem. Clucker’s Wood Roasted Chicken (WRC) is located on the Hessa Street at Sajaya Plaza. It has a cozy & warm interior with decent seating space.

Their rotisserie was the first thing I noticed as I entered, it is where almost all their dishes are prepared. It is a special kind of rotisserie which has the wood behind (not under) the chicken. The oil dripping from the chicken stays at the bottom therefore chicken gets the taste from the wood. They use their rotisserie not just for chicken but also for bread & vegetables etc.

Every item I tried was perfectly cooked. I ordered roasted chicken soup, smoked wheat soup, chicken wings, half roasted chicken, stuffed chicken breast & roasted lamb ribs.

To keep it healthy, they serve sliced fresh fruits and vegetables along with food which is a real treat. I loved both of their soups – served warm & absolutely fresh. The wheat soup is their best seller, it was thick and delicious.

Chicken wings were too delicious, I enjoyed having them. Honesty, I’ve not tasted better lamb ribs before, the meat was literally melting in my mouth. It was served with sauce which was incredible. The succulent stuffed chicken breast was really creamy & cheesy.

I had a great experience at Clucker’s and would definitely visit again for some more roasted chicken.

Sultan Baba Iskender

I’ve not yet visited Turkey but my fondness for Turkish cuisine has recently grown, mainly due to amazing restaurants like Sultan Baba Iskender. Their food represents Turkish taste and their hospitality is the reflection of their culture.

I left the restaurant, quite impressed & satisfied after having a delicious meal the other day. If you’re in Dubai and want to experience Turkish cuisine, head over to Sultan Baba Iskender.

I’d suggest you to start off with Kasak Salad. It was fresh and incredible in taste. I opted for their famous dishes Iskendar Kabab and Mix Grill. Iskender Kabab is prepared from thinly cut grilled lamb with pita bread and melted butter. It is served with yogurt on the side. To get the best taste, you must eat the meat with bread. The bread will melt in your mouth and leave a delightful taste of butter. Mix Grill was a bit of everything (Adana Kebab, Lamb Shish Chicken, Wings, Chops, Bulgur), therefore do try it out. Everything was perfectly cooked. It was served with their special bread which was warm and soft and complemented the dish. I also tasted Tavuk Doner Sandwich with pita bread which was also good.

To end it with a dessert, I had Baklava. It was layered with pistachio and Turkish Icecream. I loved every bite of it.

Le Burger Restaurant

Craving for a juicy beef burger? From Vienna to Dubai le burger is here to satisfy all your cravings 😉

It is quite a spacious restaurant with fancy setting on the first floor of Mall of the Emirates. Le Burger has become popular in a very short span of time for its quality and taste. I was curious myself how it actually is, so here is my review.

At Le Burger, you can either choose from the menu or simply make your own burger which was interesting concept. I ordered their famous burger “𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫”, 𝐇𝐨𝐭 & 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫, 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, 𝐍𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐬 & 𝐎𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.

I really enjoyed both burgers and it was a tempting sight watching them pour cheese on the burger but taste wise my pick of the day was Hot & Spicy burger. It was super delicious with smoked beef bacon, jalapenos & savory cheddar. The beef patty literally melted in my mouth and I loved the taste of it. I also enjoyed beef fries, nachos & onion rings.

It was an excellent experience, the hype is justified. Le Burger offers taste, variety and quality.

Bandstand

Bandstand Dubai is a sports bar in Royal Ascot Hotel. You’d notice a large pool table as you enter the restaurant, sending clear vibes that it is a casual place for chilling, relaxing and having a good time with friends.

Its a cozy place with total Bollywood feel and has a stage set up for live music. You can enjoy range of cocktails and mocktails from the bar that will surely impress you.

Some of the drinks that we enjoyed were; Sunrise, Paradise & Strawberyy Mojito. The food here was also delicious. I tired Jalapeno Cheese Poppers, Chicken Lollipop, Chili Chicken & Chimi Churri Paneer.

Brd dxb will treat you with chicken sandwiches in variety of flavours that you will remember for Life.

𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 is a perfect burger that will make you lose all your sanity! 😉 because thats how good it is. It is a perfect juicy and saucy burger that you would want to finish in one go! 🤤

Oh and Dont forget to taste 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨! The burger is not as juicy as Insanity but Its definitely for those who love crunchy fried chicken burgers.

To fully enjoy your meal do try their perfectly crisp Chicken Tenders and Dusted Fries! I totally recommend it as I myself cannot wait to be back there again 😅

Benjarong – Dusit Thani Dubai

The experience at the award winning Thai Restaurant, “Benjarong at Dusit Thani Hotel was fabulous. This beautiful hotel is located at prime location on SZR and the restaurant is on the 24th floor with stunning views of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Skyline. The environment created at this place is elegant with traditional ambiance & lavish décor. The interior immediately attracts the attention of the guests, it feels like being in Thailand with all the designs on the walls, pictures, sculptures and that beautiful main hall seating area. On top of all that, a beautiful lady appears on stage every 20 minutes to entertain by playing Khim and traditional dancing. Servers also contributed in making guests feel like royals, service was superb.

If you are craving for authentic Royal Thai dishes then must visit Benjarong. I ordered Prawn crackers and Chicken satay for appetizers and fish, Stir fried chicken, crispy noodles and fried rice for main course. I loved their Barramundi fish that came with sweet & sour sauce which had an outstanding taste. It was so well cooked that every bite was literally melting in my mouth. I had crispy noodles after very long, they were flawless but quantity wasn’t much. I enjoyed it with my favorite Fried rice.

For dessert I blindly ordered for their coconut ice-cream. It was just wow, loved every bite. I was craving for coconut ice-cream and it was damn satisfying. Try it out on my recommendation.

Status Kitchen

Status Kitchen is totally my kind of a place. Good food, reasonable prices and friendly staff. They dont have much seating space but its a good option for take away & deliveries. It has Live Kitchen concept & all the items are freshly prepared. The place is well maintained/cleaned and has modish interior.

I ordered Nachos Chicken, Alfredo Pasta Chicken, Spicy Hot Dog & Crispy Chicken Spicy Burger. I enjoyed everything and had a great time. The presentation of food was tastefully done, dishes were super tempting. All items were delicious but Nachos won my heart. I loved every bite of it. They were crisp and the toppings had perfect texture and flavor.

Do check out this place to enjoy some drool worthy dishes at reasonable prices!

Meats & Flame

Temptation Alert: This review is not intended for those who are on a diet😁

The “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲” is the craziest thing I’ve ever had. It was presented to the table all sophisticated in a Jar and then the server turned it over on the plate, it was love at first sight for me. The combo of fries and chicken with overloaded layers of cheese & sauces – it was very satisfying

Meats and flame is an ultimate place for cheese lovers. You must forget all your concerns about excessive calories before stepping in otherwise you won’t fully enjoy

I also tasted their famous Giant burgers – 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 (𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗳) & 𝗚𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 (𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻). The presentation was dope, it made the burgers even more tempting. As the server continued to cut burgers in half, the cheese started pouring out. Burgers were really good, I enjoyed beef one more though.

There is decent seating space inside and it is well maintained. My recommendation is to try their 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 for a foodgasmic experience 😉
