Carnival by Tresind is considered one of the finest dining places in Dubai. It rightfully deserves all the praises it receives for its unmatched creativity, superb food quality, attention to detail, excellent customer service and of course delicious food. It is among the top restaurants in UAE and the experience it offers to its guests is simply magical. It is not just another dining place but rather a Carnival feast of Indian cuisine in a modern style.
The aesthetics of the place are mesmerizing. The interior is elegant, innovative and unique. The entrance is quite vibrant with colorful lights and attractive floor design. The place has an artistic look with dim lights and beautiful decoration. The exquisite choice in furniture makes the environment rich in style and luxury.
Carnival by Tresind has an interesting concept for their set menu. They have different seasons with unique ideas every three months. Currently, the new season has been introduced which is called “Books” and all their dishes are presented in a way that they synchronize with the theme. The food is prepared and presented to match the essence of the book cover. It is a brilliant idea and requires absolute focus and dedication. People at carnival surely love what they do because they are a team of artists and creators who manage to produce a masterpiece every time they serve food on the table.
The current season 6 (Books) is a mix of both Veg and Non-Veg dishes. The gastronomic extravaganza began with a refreshing drink and went on to serving 8 starters, 5 main dishes and a dessert, not to forget the Tanga Cart specially created in a separate room “Dilli 6” for Chaat & Pani puri. It was interesting to have Pani Puri prepared on the cart, full points for the presentation. The entire room was beautifully decorated
The starters included Amuse bouche, which was a bao bhajji served in a unique style on a microscope stand. Then there were several items served in a book format representing the theme starting with Momo fuku (Asian dumpling), Baked Cottage Cheese, Hot sauce nation (Shrimp made with homemade black pepper tobasco) & Meat-a-licious (Grilled lamb chops). Shrimps and chops were outstanding, the marination made the shrimps finger-licking good. The chops were so tender and delicious, I’ve never tasted lamb chops like this before.
Guava and passion fruit lolly Sorbet was served prior to the main course to neutralize the taste buds and get ready to enjoy the food. The smoky effect and the presentation of the sorbet was really majestic.
I particularly loved all the items served in main course, every dish was scrumptious. I had Pumpkin Kofta. Chicken korma & Fish tagine.
To prepare the dessert, the Chef came to our table and displayed his amazing skills and constructed a masterpiece, the Gajak. It was made up of peanuts, jiggery, caramel and chocolate sauce. After the initial painting on the sheet, the bowl of milk and ice-cream was smashed to spread the ingredients on the canvas. It was absolutely mind blowing and I loved every bite of it.
The sweet and classic ending of the grand feast with the Pan was perfect way to finish it. The server explained all the ingredients as he prepared it on the table. Presentation at every step is their forte. It was truly a beautiful and delish evening at Carnival by Tresind, the keen attention to detail by their team is commendable. I have nothing but excellent remarks for the overall experience and highly recommend everyone to visit this place.
